Mark has led downstream, specialty products, and environmental industry-focused companies for more than 30 years. Specifically, his senior leadership roles have accounted for annual revenues exceeding $500MM with industrial stalwarts such as Shell, SK Environmental and GFL. He has consistently focused on technical, sales, and operations functions, while continually exploring opportunities to grow the business through targeted and transformational acquisitions. Mark earned a master’s in chemical engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany, and a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Hamburg, Germany. He is fluent in German and English.

Terry Lee joins our team as Chief Operations Officer leading BTE’s re-refining operations. In this position, he will manage all of BTE’s operating assets as well as the technical and HS&E groups. Terry comes to us with over 35 years of petrochemical experience within Shell and its joint venture partners, overseeing the construction, commissioning, and start-up of performance chemicals, refining, and asphalt facilities. Additionally, he has extensive supply, planning, and operations management experience. He has a strong history of delivering superior results: improving HS&E, operational reliability, cost management, and productivity.

Pat serves as Chief Commercial Officer, managing the commercial expansion for our RBO and Specialties portfolios, feedstock sourcing, and marketing while providing critical market comprehension and strategic sales leadership. Pat has a strong track record of over 30 years of senior executive positions in the fuels refining, specialty products, lubricants, and asphalt industries. He spent ten years with HollyFrontier (HF)—now HF Sinclair—leading their global Lubricants and Specialty Products commercial teams, with offices in the US, Canada, Mexico, China, Brazil, and Europe. Among his many contributions, Pat played a critical role in HF Sinclair’s expansion, pivotal in acquiring Petro-Canada Lubricants, Red Giant, and Sonneborn. While at HF Sinclair, he also managed Holly Asphalt Company, a major asphalt producer in the southwestern US. Additionally, Pat spent 20 years with Sunoco R&M in Philadelphia, managing the commercial wholesale portfolio, including fuels, lubricants and specialty products.

Bryce Buckley joined Blue Tide in 2021 and serves as the company’s Chief Accounting Officer. Bryce has 20 years of accounting experience, largely within the context of public companies, including EnLink Midstream, Blucora Inc., Cash America International, and StanCorp Financial Group. During his career, Bryce’s areas of focus have included financial and operational accounting, SEC reporting, and investor relations. In addition, Bryce has led numerous complex technical accounting projects, including the implementation of the newly issued revenue recognition, lease accounting, and credit loss rules, as well as the accounting for multiple business combinations. Bryce earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting from Texas A&M University.
